Student Government at BHS

At BHS, Student Government is a dynamic and empowering opportunity for students to lead, collaborate, and create positive change within our school community. It provides a platform for students to amplify their voices, represent their peers, and help shape the culture and experience of our school.
Our Student Government reflects our core values of equity, inclusivity, and student leadership. Elected representatives’ partner with staff and administration to plan events, advocate for student needs, and promote school spirit and community engagement. Whether organizing spirit weeks, leading service projects, or contributing to school-wide decision-making, our student leaders help ensure that every voice is heard.
Student Government responsibilities include:
  • Representing student ideas and feedback to school leadership
  • Organizing events that foster school spirit and community
  • Leading initiatives around equity, service, and advocacy
  • Supporting a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Practicing leadership, collaboration, and civic responsibility
